I have a question about grammar and want to ask you for help.
Here's the question: Is this your daughter?
The answer is Yes, she is or Yes, it is. ?
I don't think there's much differenceš

Yes, she is.
The daughter is a girl and a person. So we say āsheā.
Same for wife, girlfriend, sister, female friend and grandmother.
Son, husband, boyfriend, male friend and grandfather would be āheā.
Saying āitā can be seen as rude because it is a person. Some people even find it rude if you call a dog or a cat āitā instead of āheā or āsheā.
āItā is for objects and animals mostly.
