Today, I stayed home and did not go to school. I was not feeling very motivated, so I decided to take a day off. In the morning, I spent some time relaxing and preparing for the day. In the afternoon, I had a part-time job, so I got ready and went to work. I wanted to do my best during my shift. After work, I came home and relaxed. It was a quiet but busy day.

Great work! A little thing: 'to have a part-time job' is something general - you have it all the time you have a contract, so you can't just have it in the afternoon.
