Hello. If I'm retelling a book in English, which tense should I use? For example, if a book describes events in Present tense, what about my retelling?

When you retell a book, always use present tense. This is regardless of the tense used in the book. The logic is that the events in the book are always the same every time someone reads it. The same is true for films and TV shows.
