This is a topic that is very hrad to talk about for Chinese people, because this sort system for people was based on the social environments of the USA. For example, we usually called the people who were born roughly between 1980 and 1989 the 80s. During the period, the development of the society basically kept with a steady rate. Children all around the country shared the same interests in that decade. Without internet, private cars and much money, the 80s features keeping some traditions, such as caring about other's feeling more than themselves. But for people who were born during 1990s,they care more about their personality. They were called the 90s. At my work place, the 90s often refuse to do extra work during their free time, but the 80s sometimes want to do some extra work to be responsible for their duty. The 80s have got into a habit of working hard since their childhoods. They believe that our country would be getting stronger with everyone's hard working. Of course, they eventually did it! The 90s had more opportunities to learn new things from the whole world when they were young. So, they could bulid out country better after they grew up. So, each generation has their advantages and disadvantages. People from different generations should communicate without any prejudices.
