Is there any way that we can make sure about the meaning of "make"? (Between forced to do sth and caused to do sth)
For example:
"I made him kiss you."

I see the confusion. I think context is a great indicator, and the “logistics” of the sentence. Is it more likely that you caused him to kiss (you told him the friend also liked him back, etc)? Or is it more likely that you forced him to kiss, by holding the back of his head and pushing it, etc? Right? The cause here logically seems more likely. But you’re right, both are possible! Hahaha
