علاء الدين Alaa El Din It is a boy's name It means literally : The height of faith As for 'abou' I don't know that one ! Is that the complete name or just part of it ?

Ala'a AlDeen = a boy name "also one of the famous characters in Arabic tales" in Arabic = علاء الدين Ala'a= height Deen= Religion/faith so it means "highly believed in something" or "has a high faith" abou= father of/father so "abou Ala'a Aldeen" means father of Ala'a Aldeen additional info: when adding Abou(father of) before a name it doesn't always mean that he is the father of this person; in Arabic you can use "Abou+(name)" as a nickname. for example Khalid is an unmarried man but is called "abou Osama" so "abou Osama" is just his nickname.doesn't mean his son is Osama. hope it was useful~
