He surely means 'Goddess'! 'God' refers to the supernatural being that is worshipped in monotheistic religions. It could also figuratively refer to some symbol of power or force or someone with supernatural qualities and therefore perceived as a deity by people. 'Goddess' refers to a female spirit with special powers that people do worship in some religions, mostly the polytheistic ones ( such as the Greek goddesses). The word 'goddess' means also a very beautiful woman or one who people admire and copy, it is like the word 'diva' in this context.

I think he is debating on which sex should God be, not on the written form.

There is no such thing as "Godes". If you mean "Godess", well, isn't that obvious? Godess = female God = male

Sorry, this needs a correction: "What is the difference between 'God' and 'Goddess'?" "Actually, my dear friends and respected teachers, I've discussed this for about an hour with my room mate, so still this topic is pending(?)... so please help me out ... OK, thanks..." Just a tip: it's difficult to take someone seriously when they purposely use chat shorthand (frnz, plz, u) in a proper discussion. In fact, I immediately think of this: www.lolcats.com
