Thanks :) I prefer this version, "Что ты хочешь от меня услышать?". I can see that literally this means "What do you want to hear from me?", which is more appropriate for quarrels!. I was also thinking of a situation when I was chatting to a Russian language partner on Skype for the first time, and they asked me to say something in Russian. I wanted to reply "What do you want me to say?", but didn't know how. Would "Что ты хочешь от меня услышать?" still be better than "Что ты хочешь, чтоб я сказал?", or is the first version really just said when two people are arguing together? Thanks in advance.
