As Nabi Luvsu mentioned above, "-ㄹ 테고" can be used to indicate a speaker's guess or when a speaker is confident of something, and it's short for "-ㄹ 터이고" which is compound of "-ㄹ 터이다" and "-(이/하)고" meaning "and".
"-ㄹ 것이고" has the same meaning as "-ㄹ 테고", and it's often used in written.
For example,
It will take time and we may not make it.
시간이 걸릴 테고 성공 못 할지도 몰라.
= 시간이 걸릴 것이고 성공 못 할지도 몰라.
(it will~ = ㄹ테 orㄹ것(이), and = 고)
