It all depends on context: You can make a noise – either one sound or a lot of sounds together You can make noises – two or more separate sounds You can stop making a noise You can stop making noises You can make noise – create a clamour You can stop making noise.

Perhaps, but it is more likely stated as "Don't make a sound". In the U.S., stop making a noise sounds very awkward. Unless "a noise" as a phrase means "a ruckus", "a fuss", "a big deal" it would be appropriate, but that phrase needs to be commonly understood by the listeners.

Yes, stop making a noise is correct english. I can't explain why, but english is my mother tongue. I can hear my mother saying it to me when I was child.

no, it is not right to say "stop making a noise", because the word 'noise' is an uncountable noun, i mean that i hasn't a plural or a sigular form. so the right answer is to say:"stop making noise". good luck
