Hi, For any plural noun which first letter is a vowel you use 'les' e.g.: l'oiseau, les oiseaux. it's the same for nouns that begins with a silent 'h' e.g. : l'histoire, les histoires . Hope it's helpful to you ;-)

Hello, you would only cut " le " to " l' " since it is for singular words. It is done for words begining with a silent "h" too ("l'histoire" for instance).
