Which one is the correct sentence? "Please sign in the document" or "Please sign on the document". Dear friends, I am not sure about the preposition that goes with the word "document". Please help me out.

"On" would be the better choice. But, the best thing would to not use any preposition. "Please sign the document" sounds very natural.

Please sign the document on page... Please sign the document at the bottom... Please sign the document where indicated...

Usually, simply "sign the document" is used.
