It looks like English uses a reverse order of information. We organize it this way:
Name
(Company Name)
(Room number)(Apartment number/Floor)
(Building #) (Street)
(Suburb/City district) (City)
(Region/State/County) (Postcode)
(Country)
So we start at the person, and work step-by-step out to the country name. Of course, you don't need to fill in every gap. For example, my postal address has a building number but not an apartment number (you find my apartment by name). My friend in another country doesn't use (or need) a postal code.
