دمك زي العسل its an Egyptian Expression literally translation is " your blood like the honey" and it means that u have Sense of humor and also funny

It's a colloquial idiomatic expression (egyptian dialect), it's used to describe someone who is sympathetic, pleasant, and aimable :)

و المصريون مشهورون بخفة الدم، Translation: Egyptians are known for their sense of humor. و لكني أبدا لم أظن أنني في يوم من الأيام سيكون دمي زي العسل but never did I think that I would be funny خفة الدم (kheffet eddam) means sense of humor. دمي زي العسل (dammi zai il'asal) means I'm funny. You don't want to know the literal translation of these idioms because it's not even closely related to what they actually mean:D The whole sentence sounds very weird though because it's an odd combination between Standard Arabic and the Egyptian Arabic

It appears to be a story about the effect his country has on him. I only understood scattered words so a transcript would be helpful. I look forward to reading all responses and I will listen to the podcast several times.
