In the second sentence, you left out the word 'water'. I assume that is not part of your question, but that it is about the place of 'op'. 
There is no difference in meaning between the two sentences. Some people prefer one version, other people the other. It's partly a regional thing (a difference between The Netherlands and Flanders), partly personal preference. 
You can use both.
