Does things change with ones accent ! i know that there's a difference between speaking formally and informally in Korean but what i noticed is in some movies some words change in the end from an actor to another such as ' arasso ' 'aranna ' 'aratta ' .. is it an accent or a way of speaking ?! i'm confused -_-

It is related with speech level. There are seven speech levels in Korean, and each level has its own unique set of verb endings which are used to indicate the level of formality of a situation. Here is a list of same word with different speech level in order of politeness declarative sentence ending 알았어. 알았다. 알았네. 알았소. 알았어요. 알았습니다. interrogative sentence ending 알았어? 알았냐?/알았니? 알았나?/알았는가? 알았소? 알았어요? 알았습니까?
