Does his eyes being closed mean the same as with his eyes closed? For example, do these mean the same? "He stood there, his eyes being closed. " "He stood there, with his eyes closed."

They do mean the same thing. However, stylistically, "with his eyes closed" sounds much better to me.

In a novel you might find, "He stood there, his eyes being closed.". But in everyday conversation we would say, "He stood there, with his eyes closed.". Cheers...
