Ahmet okula gitmiş = Ahmet gone to the school. it's Past perfect tense in English, we call it 'Miş'li geçmiş zaman' it always gets '-miş' suffix. _______________________________________________________________________ Ahmet okula gitti = Ahmet went to the school. And this one is in Past tense, in Turkish it's 'Geçmiş zaman'.
