No. "Perform" includes all the activities you do on stage. So if Madonna went on the stage, sang a song, did a dance, and then started juggling balls, we could still use the one word to describe it all: "Madonna performed on stage."

Yes, but "perform" is used in many ways.  If someone only sings, you can say that they perform (the song).  To only dance is also to "perform".
