Sometimes
Can I place "Sometimes" at the beginning of a sentence:
Sometimes I go to the beach.
I sometimes go to the beach.
Are they both correct?
And expressions like "Every day" "every week"... Can they go at the beginning or the end of the sentence?
"I drive my car every day" or "Every day I drive my car" ?
Thank you

Yes, 'sometimes' can easily go at the beginning or end of the sentence. It can also go before the main verb of the sentence.
The only place it can't go is between the verb and its object. So you can say:
Sometimes I drive my car to the beach.
I sometimes drive my car to the beach.
I drive my car to the beach sometimes.
(But you can't say 'I drive sometimes my car to the beach' - this is a common mistake)
If you have an auxiliary or modal verb, then the adverb goes before the main verb:
I have sometimes driven my car to the beach.
This rules also works for other adverbs of frequency (often, never, usually etc)
Longer phrases (such as 'every day') go at the beginning or end of the phrase or sentence:
Every day I drive my car to the beach.
I drive my car to the beach every day.
I hope this helps.
