How to say these...eat up
1. To express I have used something all, do phrases below mean that?
1.1 use up the money which means to consume every single note in hands.
1.2 eat up this bowl of dumplings which means to eat dumplings in the bowl without leftover ones.
1.3 build up these houses which means to finish building these houses
1.4 drink up juice which means to drink the juice from the glass to make it empty
1.5 burn the house up which means to burn the house into ash, or totally

All are correct except "build up" and "burn down." "Build up" isn't used to mean to finish building something. It's used to describe something that increases or accumulates. You can build up a wall, literally or metaphorically. When talking about setting fire to a structure, we nearly always use the phrase "burn the house down". When you burn something up, it's usually something smaller that you're using for fuel. In the passive, you could say that a house burned up, but it's more common to use burned down.
