If you say "sal del camino", the child has to be in an actual path/road. When you are asking someone to move because you want to pass, you can say this:

Aparta / Apártate (this sounds quite harsh)
¿Me dejas pasar? (this is honestly what I'd be most likely to say to a child in this case).
