"it" When you don't want to be "it" you yell "not it". The last person to yell it.. is "it". Now I want to play hide and seek.

Like the others said, either "it" or "seeker."

We called them "it."

My friends and I always used "the hunter" and "the hunted" or, simply, "the seeker" and "the hiders/the hidden" Thinking about this game makes me miss my childhood. :)
