"shiteiru（している）" will be used with "wo(を）".

"noun＋wo(を）＋shiteiru（している）"

For example,
Shigoto wo shiteiru.(仕事をしている）
Koi wo shiteiru.（恋をしている）
Seki wo shiteiru.（咳をしている）
