which on is correct?

Neither, really. There may be some very special cases where either could be correct.
The most common preposition to use with perception is 'of'
That is your perception of what happened
I know something that will change your perception of the situation
'of' links it to the thing that is being perceived.

I think we would need some context of how you are using the term in order to answer correctly. Also, it is more common to see the term "perception of" as in "What is your perception of the current situation?", meaning what do you think about it, or what is your view of it.
