In order to (verb) or In order to (verb+ing)?
Can anybody please ask me if the both sentenses below are right? And if it is, Why do the verb that comes after the "in order to" is in a different state.
Note: the point is "in order to"
1- I did that in order to improve that.
2- I make money in order to having a better life.
I hope the question is clear.

1- I did that in order to improve that. RIGHT
2- I make money in order to having a better life. WRONG
'In order to' is followed by the verb in its plain infinitive form. The second sentence should be 'I make money in order to HAVE a better life.'
