Does this sentence sound awkward?
I received this message and for some reason the sentence sounds wrong to me.
Bien. Y tú? I can help your English. I took IELTS though rather than TOEFL

Well, half of it seems to be in Spanish. But apart from that, you'd likely say "I can help you with your English" rather than what's there. And I would offset "though" with commas.
