Mody, do you seriously, SERIOUSLY think English is the oldest language? It's one of the newest, the Normans and Anglo-Saxons met late, understandable English emerged ~1500. Languages developed independenly across the world, linguists do not know the first language. Anyway, it developed after humans diverged so there are very few universals.

Dear anushka, i hate to reply personally in question threads but you somehow provoke me... I agree on all you say but be careful, the jewish Bible contains immense scientific credibility, more then even jews comprehend, but "blind leading blind both fall into the pothole".

Um, radwa, in the bible it says that the original language of all mankind was Hebrew. Marco Polo's expeditions went with fluent Hebrew speakers, assuming the Chinese would also speak Hebrew. They didn't. The Bible isn't science. Rome didn't come about until extremely recently how the hell would Latin be the earliest language? I'm serious, the first language was NOT WRITTEN, it is not English, Arabic, Latin anything NEARLY that modern!
