How to describe yourself in spanish I was watching a video lesson about describing your own personality in spanish, it suggested you would say: Yo soy ____ example: Yo soy artístico. In a lot of circumstances in english saying something like "I am creative" comes across as impolite. Is being that direct impolite in spanish and if so how would a native spanish speaker describe positive personality traits?

Is being that direct impolite in spanish? No I dont see how it could be impololite to describe your personality traits. If you are "creative", then thats what you are. :) How would you said it in english?? I'm curious Saludos

It doesn't sound impolite to my hears. Anyway, if you want to look modester, you can use "Me considero una persona....". But in a job interview I'd use "Soy organizado", "Soy creativo", "Soy responsable".

I don´t find impolite phrases such as "yo soy responsable" or "soy organizado" for describing yourself. But in some cases, like with the adjetive "creativo", I would prefer the phrase "Soy una persona creativa" (I´m a creative person), rather than "Soy creativo", which seems to indicate that you work as a publicist. Although it´s perfectly correct.
