Becario is a word in spanish that is related to a person who has a scholarship and has to work in a scholarly project, in order to maintain his/her scholarship.

You would communicate the same idea by saying "I have a scholarship" or "Those receiving a scholarship" etc. There isn't a noun in English that means "A person receiving a scholarship". I speak Spanish and a lot of my Spanish friends are becarios.

It isn't an idea I am familiar with. Google translate just says 'scholar' or 'scholarship holder'.
Perhaps it is a system that we don't use?
