How do you say "it's up to you" in German? and an other question also. I have two answers here: es liegt an dir das liegt bei dir which is correct, or better? thanks! --------------- Konnen Sie uns das kurz erklaren? Is this sentence right? I guess it should be: Konnen Sie das uns kurz erklaren?

Beide Sätze sind richtig. ___ "Können Sie uns das kurz erklären?" so ist es Richtig.

Either will do, however "Koennen Sie es uns kurz erklaeren?" would be perfect. Why? Because most people talk that way. That's what languages are all about in the end.

"Es liegt an dir" is the correct one. Why? Es ist einfach so! Accept and memorize it.
