Statue-like face (alternatives) Hey, guys! Happy New Year everybody! I was wondering what may sound better. 'He had a statue-like face' OR 'His face was like that of a statue' OR 'His face was like ONE of a statue'. Clue me in, please.

We usually say 'he had a face like stone' - which of course is what statues are made of (or marble or something equally hard and unyielding). If you say he has a face like a statue, I think people will understand, but a face of/like stone is more natural sounding.
