How to use こと and 必要(ひつよう)
フェロー諸島はとても小さい国がです。だからフェロー人はたくさんの言語を話せますことが必要します。
What i tried to say is:
The Faroe Islands is a very small country. Therefore, Faroese people need to be able to speak a lot of languages.
Did i use こと correctly in the last sentence?
And did i use 必要 correctly?

"need to be able to speak" means 「話せることが必要です」

○ 話すことが必要です。
