how can i know the differences?
HI,
there's one of the words that have shakled me when i read or write.
this is "to be concerned of".
as far as i know by dictionary, it can mean 2 different ways in large; one is to worry about something and the other is to care for something. am i right?
if so, how can i know when someone only say "i can't let you go to Italy by yourself becuase i'm concerned about you" without any further explanations.
does it mean ' becuase i worry about you' or 'because i care for you'????
please help me.
thank you in advance!

It may mean the same way since if you care about someone, you will worry about them. You can look at it the other way and say that if you worry about someone, it's because you care about them. So "to be concerned" about someone or something shows that you care and worry at the same time.

It probably means both being worried about safety and caring for someone.

I think it means 'because I worry about you' given the situation where the other person 'can´t let you go'
I hope it can helps you.
