What is the difference between “틀리다” and “잘못되다”?
I always get mixed up between the two.

Sometimes I just want to say “You’re wrong.” = “You’ve made a mistake.” (in English) Eg. When somebody answers a test question wrongly.

Can you say “틀렸어요”? or “잘못됐어요”?

Can you say “She is wrong.” = “그녀 틀렸다.”? (She thinks today is Wednesday but it is Friday.)

How can you say “She is wrong about that”?
 Can you say “그에 대해 틀렸다”? or “그에 대해 잘못했어요”?

틀리다 표현은 요즘 다르다는 표현과 혼용되어 사용되고 있습니다. 틀리다는 어떤 사실이 틀리거나, 내가 바라는 일이 잘되지 않았을 때 사용하는 표현이라고 생각합니다. 즉, 오늘은 수요일이 아니고 목요일이다. 그러므로 수요일이라고 말하는 것은 틀리다. 이렇게 사실이 틀릴 때 사용합니다. 
이 표현은 결과가 나쁘게 되거나, 부정적인 것이 아니라, 단지 사실과 다르다는 의미입니다.

그러나, 잘못되다 표현은 어떤 일이 잘못되어 결과가 나쁘게 악화되거나 부정적으로 되었을 때 쓰는 표현이므로, 단지 she is wrong.. she've made a mistake, 이런 의미에서는 잘못되다가 아니라 틀리다 라는 표현이 맞는 것 같습니다.

또한, 잘못하다와 잘못되다는 다른 의미인 것 같습니다. 
잘못하다는 실수를 하다는 의미이고, 잘못되다는 일이 악화되다라는 의미이므로, 이는 다르게 사용해야 합니다.
