I vs I myself
There is an old song that goes something like this: "I myself have seen my wilder days..."
So, what's the difference between I and I myself?
Thanks!

Hello Domingo,
Hank Jr. "All my rowdy friends have settled down" good song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TmgaOzps2M
I think since in the line before that one he states
"Nobody wants to get drunk and get loud. Everybody just wants to go back home."
He says "I myself have seen my wilder days and I have seen my name at the top of the page" meaning that like his friends he no longer wants to party all night and get into trouble.
Instead he would rather stay home and drink where he cannot be arrested and see his name at the top of the page.
He could have said I have seen my wilder days but then you would not have the connection or similarity between him and his friends.
I hope this makes sense and helps you.
