I can explain a few things to you.
All tones in Thai language when written in english alphabet look same but when spoken they sound different. This is why when we learn, we start with the alphabet ก : กา,ก่า,ก้า,ก๊า,ก๋า
1 - sĭang săa-man = mid-tone
example กา ka
2 - sĭang àyk = low tone
exsample ก่า ka
3 - sĭang toh = falling tone
exsample ก้า ka
4 - sĭang dtree = high tone
exsample ก๊า kar
5 - sĭang jàt-dtà-waa = rising tone
exsample ก๋า kar
