What I want to say in English is "That is only one of its many charming qualities," it being a place. I thought #2 has that meaning.

1)That is another charming quality.
2)That is the only charming quality.
"only" can mean either "single or sole" or "merely or no more than", which are transferred respectively to ただ…の or …
For example:
He is the only friend that I have.
He is only a child.
So my translation would be this:
"That is only one of its many charming qualities," it being a place.
