"To be there" - depending on context, can this mean "To achieve success" ?

"To get there" is commonly utilized to express success. E.g. I knew you would get there (in the end/eventually)! Congratulations! "To be there" is vague for that matter, it requires (as you've mentioned) a context (where). I hope this helps.
