Differences between "appliance, device, unit, apparatus" ?
Hi,
I have a new question for you. When do you use these words?
What I think is that a "device" is something like an Ipod, and an "appliance" is for kitchenware. I don't know about "apparatus" and "unit". In French we say"appareil" for all of them so it's quite tricky.
Now can you help me figure out what term should be used in this example?:
"In order to reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No part inside the .... may be used by the user"
Feel free to correct my sentence if it's not even correct.
Thank you.
