How different are "ownership" and "property"?

I find the difference quite subtle. In Spanish I'd say:
Ownership: Titulariedad
Property: Propiedad

Property usually refers to houses, land, buildings. Ownership refers to anything else that is yours.
Ex: This house is my property.
Ex: I own that boat.

I would say:
I own one property. So the ownership of this property is mine.
I think, Property is an objet and ownership the legal possession. Any native to give us a hand??
