Memorizing kanji radicals? Which radical position should I use?
Lately I have been spending some time learning/memorizing the kanji radicals. My question is, is there a common rule for knowing when to use a specific radical position?
By radical position, I am referring to へん (hen), つくり (tsukuri), かんむり (kanmuri), あし (ashi), かまえ (kamae), たれ (tare), and にょう (nyou).

I am Japanese.
Sorry, I don't understand what you want to know.
Talking about the Kanji radicals, they are always put on the same places.
へん is always on the left side
つくり right
かんむり top
あし bottom
かまえ around
たれ top to left
にょう left to bottom
like that.
We memorize Kanjis by writing again and again.
While we doing that, we scarcely think about radicals.
We learn about 1,000 Kanjis in elementary school, and (I think) 500 ~ 1,000 more in junior high school.
Radicals are parts of Kanjis and because they have meanings, they help us to memorize Kanjis.
