“I’ve Got You Covered” What does that mean exactly? Could you offer me a few examples please? Thanks

It's basically a term for looking after someone or something.
It's most often used here (UK) when friends are all trying to pay each others bill at a restaurant. They might say, 'I've covered it' or 'I've got (you/your share) covered.
Perhaps a colleague missed something (small), and rather than announce it, they simply correct it - not the same as a cover up though, more a friendly support.
