Hello, I'm preparing the Academic IELTS exam, I need to achieve the C1 level (I'm preparing it on my own). For the people who has reached this level, I would like to ask you for some general advices, and some topics to practice the speaking section. Thank you.

Hi Elizabeth,  There's one important thing that you should remember and that is to be confident that you can make it.  And the only way you can get confidence is being prepared.  So, do your best to be prepared for it.  You can get a good IELTS reviewer book or you can also ask a professional teacher to help you do a review.  This is actually one of my courses online.  Practice as much as you can with native English speakers as well.  I wish you well and success!

Hi Elizabeth, I haven't reach C1 level, but I reached B2 level.  I scored IELTS score of overall band 6 in Feb 2017.  Hopefully, I have a chance to practice English with you.  Thank you  :)
