What's the difference between STILL and JUST in this context? Could I use JUST indtead of STILL in this context? When using the passages for practice, try to mix listening, reading, reading aloud and imitation. If you can do just one of these, that's STILL a start, but if you can combine these methods, you'll get better results. Thanks. Have a nice day!

No. It changes the meaning. To say it's JUST a start emphasizes that it's not really very much and there's a long way to go. To say it's STILL a start emphasizes the opposite: even though you're not using all of the skills (which would be the best way to do it), nevertheless it is STILL a good start, that is, you're STILL accomplishing something.
