It feels like.. or I feel like??
There is that girl who used an emoji, and I said why that emoji?
and then she said " it feels like putting that emoji "
Then I tried to correct her sentence and said " this sounds wrong, I'd say (I feel like putting that emoji)",
but she insisted that her sentence is correct!
I don't know I think it's wrong ! You can't say for example ( it feels like drinking coffee right now) you'd better say ( I feel like drinking coffee)
I don't know, what do you think?
Hope my question is clear ..
thank you.

The context seems a tad bizarre.
It feels like describes an object or an event. For example:
This bath feels like a massage
Losing the game feels like a death in the family.
I feel like means what i want to do:
I feel like going for coffee
I feel like having a beer
Based on this, I would guess your answer was best.

To me, "it feels like" suggests that something is causing a feeling:
It feels like it's going to rain = the clouds, the air pressure or something is creating a feeling that rain is coming.
On the other hand, "I feel like" suggests a feeling or emotion that comes from oneself, rather than one's surroundings or environment.
