Vender vs. Venderse
Hi! I came across the below sentence and wasn't sure why the reflexive venderse was used. I thought venderse was "to sell out," which doesn't seem to fit here. Thanks for any help!
"Pegasus, el programa espía, es fabricado por el grupo israelí NSO Group, y se vende exclusivamente a gobiernos."

Significa "vender"
Estás antes una oración impersonal para no dar importancia al sujeto que hace la acción de vender sino "a quién", es decir, quién recibe el resultado de la acción (vender)
Espero haberte ayudado.

The most common way of expressing a passive idea in Spanish is by using "se" with a verb in the third person:
- Aquí se habla español = Spanish is spoken here.
- Se necesita tener paciencia = You need to be patient.
- Se come bien en Francia = One eats / People eat well in France.
- ¿Se puede viajar sin visa? = Is it possible to travel without a visa?
- Ese modelo ya no se usa = That model is not used (in use) anymore.

This is not "to sell out" but a way to use passive voice in Spanish. It's translated as "it is sold" or "people sell it" It's an impersonal way to talk and it's used when the subject is not relevant at all but the direct object of the sentence after the verb.
