Are both sentences OK? Is there a good restaurant somewhere close by here? Is there a good hotel somewhere near by here?

I good at English and I am living in Turkey and learning Turkish. If you are interested to teach me Turkish and I teach you English, let me know Sağol :)

Hello Sinem. Is there a good restaurant somewhere close by here? "Here" is redundant. Close by already implies that the point of reference is "here". If you were talking about some other place, then you can say, "Is there a good restaurant somewhere close to Istanbul highway?" Is there a good hotel somewhere near by here? "Here" is redundant again.

Hi, everyone would understand, but you don't need to use 'here' in either sentence. In these sentences, close by and nearby (one word), both mean close to you. If you are talking about another place, then you should use 'there'.
