You say, ski equipment when your talking about what you use for skiing like boots, poles and skis. Or you can also say, ski gear. Ski tools , if your repairing a ski. Hope this helps.

Just to add to the excellent answer that you've already been given, you should know that a person can also be a 'tool' if they are a complete jerk or pretentious ass.
