Run-on sentences in Japanese? In English we can create run-on sentences by using words like "and" and "so" and "but" at the start of each sentence. While these is not grammatically correct, it is very common in daily speech. Can the same be done in Japanese using the て-form? Like this: 男:今日は傘を探してて。。。 女:うん。。。 男:どこまでも探してみてね。。。探せなくて。。。 女:ああ、そう? 男:そして友達の家に行って傘を探してよ〜 女:よかったわ。 男:嬉しかったね。 Is it also common to just end sentences with the て- form? 男:ああ、今日いっぱい食べてね。。。
